We highly recommend treating yourself to a sauna before your next massage. A few of the many health benefits are increased circulation, reduced risk of cardiovascular disease, as well as removing toxins from the body. The heat also helps your muscles and connective tissues warm-up and relax enabling our practioners to perform deeper work.

Appointments are booked in one hour increments enabling you to choose a timeline that works best for your heat tolerance and schedule. We recommend spending 30-45 minutes in the sauna. Towels and shower are provided in-house.

By understanding our own desires, past experiences, and vulnerabilities, we lay the groundwork for meaningful connections with others.

Sarah sees her clients as the expert of their lives and experiences, and sees her role as a support, catalyst, guide and companion in her client’s process. She offers the courage to swim in deep waters and cherishes the uniqueness of everyone’s journey.

Sarah works with those who wish to no longer be limited by the patterning, conditioning, stories, triggers, attachment styles and past hurts that have been interfering with who and how you want to be. She uses intuition to create a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore, heal and grow so you can live your preferred expression of self.

Sarah’s approach is Person Centred and draws from several different theories and modalities including attachment and family systems therapy, which focuses on the impact of our relational attachments, including caregivers and other primary attachment figures. Existential therapy which focuses on embracing the human condition, facing anxieties and discovering the freedom to choose how to live our lives with autonomy in any direction we choose. She also integrates our current understanding of neuroscience and uses tools from art therapy to assist the therapeutic process.

Sarah works with individuals, couples and those in multi-partner relationships.

Sarah holds a Diploma of Professional Counselling from the Vancouver College of Counsellor training.

Find your inner medicine. Reconnect from the inside out.

Jude co-creates each session through fully embodied listening and compassionate inquiry.

With over 10 years of immersive, experiential training, Jude is a diverse and fluid practitioner integrating experiential, systemic, intuitive, and clinical practices, walking with individual, relationship, and group processes.

Her areas of practice range from navigating change to building communication skills; from working with anxiety and regulating intense emotions, to the resolution of emotional and psychological trauma through regressive, integrated hypnotherapy.

Jude has a warm and easy way of connecting, reflecting core truths, identifying larger patterns, and perhaps smaller parts needing to be re-integrated.

Her innovative approach with couples and relationships facilitates meaningful, effective communication, connection, and conflict resolution that is lasting and far-reaching. Identify patterns and blindspots; recover, understand and communicate emotions; navigate and utilize conflict to build and restore authentic connection.

Whether you may simply seek a safe place to figure out what’s next, a richer experience of life or relationship, or you are ready to dive in deeply to the root of a recurring issue, Jude offers a facilitated and held space to explore and inquire, speak out loud, unpack and reconnect.

Sessions can be illuminating, grounding, empowering, and transformative, in any order.

QUALIFICATIONS + TRAINING

Jude currently practices under supervision as a Registered Professional Counsellor-Candidate with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA), seeing clients at Eleven Arrows and through her own practice in Duncan, BC.

Before graduating from Kelowna College of Professional Counselling in 2020, Jude was immersed for 10 years in The Way of Council, from the late Ojai Foundation; Heart-Centred Therapies with The Wellness Institute in Washington State, USA, including Heart-Centred Hypnotherapy; and in Systemic Family Constellations throughout the West Coast with Jan Hull at Coastal Constellations Hub. “In the session space, I witness from a deeply compassionate, wide-angled lens of human experience and work with what arises most naturally. As we discover and embrace our own inner ‘coding’ of language, symbols, meaning and emotion, we find a new engagement with ourselves and with life, becoming more aware, responsive, and connected from within.”                      ~ Jude Wong, RPC-C, HCH

Kirstin graduated from WCCMT Victoria in the spring of 2017. She started her practice in a spa environment, eventually transitioned into a clinical setting and finalized her experience in Victoria with her own private practice. She found herself in Nanaimo after making the decision to live a more quiet life and be closer to her family. With extended family spanning from tip-to-tip of Vancouver Island, she feels Nanaimo is the perfect place to call “home”.

Naturally drawn to holding space for her friends and family, Kirstin always knew she would end up working in the health-care field. Studying anatomy and having a hands-on career felt the most appealing, which led to Kirstin deciding to pursue massage therapy professionally. She enrolled in the massage therapy program just one year out of high school. She had to grow up quickly by keeping up with her studies, navigating living alone, and bonding with her peers of various age groups. She thanks this stressful and hectic time for making her into the dedicated and present practitioner that she is today. Kirstin's approach is grounded and holistic. She values meeting her clients where they are at, listening attentively to their specific needs, and providing a treatment that feels both therapeutic and deeply relaxing. She has taken care in learning about trauma informed communication, honouring the innate vulnerability involved with allowing a practitioner into your physical space. She hopes to create a space for her clients to slow down, be heard and feel taken care of. Kirstin has training in General Swedish Massage, trigger point therapy, craniosacral therapy and myofascial release. She enjoys treating chronic headaches and migraines, scar tissue, frozen shoulder, chronic muscle strains and stress. Over the years she has discovered that she finds a deep fulfilment in working with individuals who are processing grief, emotional burn-out, and PTSD. Kirstin has found a great benefit to the brain and body connection in her personal life and is happy to help others on a similar path. She has been told that her presence feels safe and non-judgmental, which allows the body to trust and lean into the emotional benefits of massage. In her down time Kirstin enjoys film photography, illustration, baking bread and going on neighborhood walks to smell the flowers and visit the local cats. She values her community and enjoys going to local shows and events. She aspires to become an expert at processing her film negatives at home, she's currently in the "mistake making" phase. Kirstin is excited to be a part of the team at Eleven Arrows and looks forward to serving her community.
